The 990s on my organizations profile (Garden School Foundation) were off by a year. I re-uploaded the correct years, but am wondering how to remove the mislabeled ones?

Thank you for contacting GuideStar.
We are unable to remove the Form 990s received by the IRS. Below is an explanation as to why you are seeing the years displaying as they are.
When referring to an IRS Form 990, “form year” differs from “fiscal year.” “Form year” is the year printed in the upper right corner on the first page of a 990. IRS instructions require a nonprofit to use the beginning of its fiscal year to determine the form year, i.e., which form to use.
“Fiscal year” is determined by the end of the fiscal year. This is a standard accounting practice; for more information, see http://useconomy.about.com/od/fiscalpolicydefinitions/g/Fiscal_Year.htm.
So, the form year for an organization whose fiscal year ran from July 1, 2013, through June 30, 2014, would be 2013, and the organization would use a 2013 Form 990 to report on that year. The fiscal year for that 990 would be 2014, however, because the organization’s fiscal year ended June 30, 2014.
The distinction between form year and fiscal year causes quite a bit of confusion for nonprofits and prospective donors alike. It is, however, a standard accounting practice that both the IRS and GuideStar follow.
Hope this helps. Please let me know if you need any further assistance.
