I am being told that we are not showing up in searches when our Tax ID number is used. When I enter it it works fine.
When searching by EIN users should always include the hyphen. For example you would search like this: 12-3456789.
Here's a helpful video on how to use GuideStar Search - https://community.guidestar.org/docs/DOC-1936-new-guidestar-search-top-faqs#jive_content_id_Demo_video

GuideStar Support Community
This organization searches frequently on GuideStar and will not make contributions unless the organization shows up so I feel sure they are using a hyphen. What else could be causing this?
I searched for your organization using a combination of EIN and organization name. Each time your organization's profile appeared.
One thing to be aware of if you are not logged into GuideStar and have conducted more than five searches, GuideStar will ask you to register or sign in before completing the search. We do this because we want to know more about our users and customers.
Thanks – I’m not sure why this is happening. I will address it with them!
