How do you share the information provided by our nonprofit?

Dear Sir or Ma'am,


As President and Chairman of the Board of The Pre-Columbian Society of New York, Inc., I wonder if you could please tell me more about how Guidestar shares the information we provide with regard to our organization. In particular, I'm curious which of our financial documents (revenues, expenses, assets/liabilities, annual report, etc.) can be requested by Guidestar members and guests, and what protocols are in place to secure the information we might share regarding Board leadership practices. While I see the benefit in sharing the above with potential funders of our organization, our organization is somewhat reluctant to divulge such proprietary information for the benefit and profit of Guidestar; and it's not clear to what degree sensitive financial documents might be protected from broader distribution.
