We incorporated in another state in November 2017 and per advice provided by Guidestar, created another profile with and uploaded our initial profile data into the new profile. As our organizational mission remained the same (and we were re-approved as a 501c3 by the IRS), our goal was to maintain our platinum status and history on Guidestar and let our donors know that we were the same organization, just incorporated in a different state.
I was told by a colleague that we had done this correctly, but when I looked on Guidestar today, I noticed we have 2 profiles still - one under our old corporation (04-3179950; House of Blues Music Forward Foundation; Platinum status) and one under our new corporation (47-4907184; House of Blues Music Forward Foundation; Gold status and no financial activity).
Is it possible for us to remove our old corporation, and update our new corporation profile with our previous corporation data?
