Our non-profit organization is not recognized by Amazon Smile and we have been registered for over 2 months now.

GuideStar recently sent the January updates to AmazonSmile on January 22nd. Once received by AmazonSmile, they update their site accordingly. I am monitoring their site and will follow up with you as soon as I see your organization appearing.

I am wondering if we became a GuideStar member in November, why it wouldn't
have been sent to AmazonSmile in December?

I agree with you, I would thought it would have been included in December as well. If it does not appear on AmazonSmile after they upload the January updates, I will research this further to find out why your organization is not appearing.
Just wanted to pass this along to you from Amazon Smile. Because we live
in the United States Virgin Islands, we are not eligible to participate in
Amazon Smile. Thank you for your help in this matter.

Thank you for contacting AmazonSmile Charity Support about your
Organizations must be registered and in good standing with the IRS as a
501(c)(3) to be eligible to participate. Organizations must be public
charities (not private foundations) and may not be supporting
organizations, unless identified specifically as a Type I, Type II, or
functionally integrated Type III supporting organization. Amazon receives a
monthly data feed from GuideStar via the IRS for charitable organization
Eligible charitable organizations listed at https://org.amazon.com must
also be located in one of the 50 United States, or the District of Columbia.
After further research, I can see that "THE UNITED STATES PONY CLUBS INC"
with EIN: 98-6001934 is located in the Virgin Islands, which does not make
it eligible for the AmazonSmile program.
