How to Change Your Email Address, Password or Any Other Account Information

 

In order to make account changes, you will need to sign in at GuideStar - http://www.guidestar.org - using your (old) e-mail address and password. 

Please note that if you are changing your email address the new email address must be registered on GuideStar. Click on the following link to register your new email address: www.guidestar.org

 

  • Once you are logged in, click on the arrow next to your name in the right corner of the home page.

                 

 

  • Click on "My Account".

              

 

  • Then click on "Edit Account Settings." 

          

 

 

  • You can now change your e-mail, password, contact information, company or organization profile or your communication preference.  Be sure to scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the “Save Changes” button. When changing your email address you must first sign in at www.guidestar.org and create an account

 

  • Please note: When creating or entering passwords, please remember that they are case sensitive and must contain a minimum of 8 characters.  Use a mix of lowercase and uppercase letters, at least one number, and one special character. After changing your password, you may need to delete your GuideStar cookies, which may have the old one cached.
