Updates made to your Nonprofit Profile do not automatically sync with partner sites like Facebook, AmazonSmile, and Network for Good. GuideStar sends updated information on Nonprofit Profiles to our partners each month. If you recently made updates to your Profile, it may take up to a month to appear on partner sites.

 

Information about my nonprofit such as name and mission are listed incorrectly on our fundraising tools. How can I update this?

This information is being pulled from your GuideStar Nonprofit Profile. If you haven't done so already, you will need to claim your Nonprofit Profile before you can update it. GuideStar sends updates to Facebook twice a month.

 

How much money does Facebook charge for each donation made through Facebook?

Facebook has eliminated its 5% fee on donations so 100% of money sent through its Donate buttons go to the desired non-profit.
