What happened?

During a recent update to GuideStar Nonprofit Profiles and the 2017 GuideStar Profile Standard, we noticed some organizations’ Seals of Transparency were not showing up on their Profile.

 

What have we done to address this issue?

We reviewed the information for all organizations and have restored Seals of Transparency for qualified organizations. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.

 

What are you doing to make sure this doesn’t happen in the future?

We’re monitoring this information closely to prevent this issue from happening again. We are developing a backend process that will monitor for similar issues in the future.

 

How do I confirm the information on my profile is up-to-date?

To review and edit the information on your Nonprofit Profile go to guidestar.org/update and click “Get Started Now”.

GuideStar will be conducting a major import of new organizations to the GuideStar database this weekend (September 30 - October 1).
 
If you have supplied us with all the required documents and information as specified here by Friday, September 29: How to Get your Nonprofit Listed on GuideStar, you should expect to see your nonprofit’s listing on guidestar.org by Monday, October 2.
